Hatch Clip – Web Clipper for Notion
The article, saved as a Notion page. Clip full articles, highlights, AI chats, and YouTube transcripts into Notion. Headings, lists, tables, code, and images stay intact, and database properties are filled in from the popup.
As of October 2026, the official Notion Web Clipper listed about 1,000,000 users and a 2.9 rating. The repeated complaint is that the saved page is the wrong content. Save to Notion, the main paid alternative, is rated lower than a focused tool should be and charges $5.99 a month. Hatch Clip is built around the article itself, with the database fields filled in before you save.
The article, not the chrome
Hatch Clip runs a Readability-style extraction, then converts headings, lists, quotes, tables, code, and images into Notion blocks. Navigation, footers, and newsletter boxes stay on the website.
Properties in the popup
Pick the database or page, then fill the title, URL, tags, and select fields before the page is created. You do not have to open Notion and fix the row afterwards.
Selection only
Highlight a passage and save that passage. The rest of the page is left behind. A keyboard shortcut does the same thing.
Templates
Save a destination and its property defaults. The free plan keeps 3 templates. Pro removes the cap.
AI chats
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok conversations become a Notion page with a heading for each speaker. If a site changes its markup, Hatch Clip falls back to the article extractor.
YouTube, when captions exist
Save the video title and link, plus the transcript from the open transcript panel or the caption track. There is no downloader.
What it looks like
These frames are drawn previews, not screenshots from the store listing. Replace them with captures once the listing is live.
File it before you save
The popup picks a database and fills title, URL, tags, and select fields.
The article survives
Headings, lists, tables, and code become Notion blocks. The nav does not.
A chat, as a page
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok threads are saved with a heading per speaker.
Pricing
Subscribe from the Hatch Clip popup after Notion is connected. Checkout is a Stripe subscription on the shared Tabhatch account, with one product per extension.
